About HashMemo

Learn. Think. Put it into your own words.

HashMemo helps you explore new ideas, connect them to your life, and build the habit of thinking for yourself.

Through great books and topics such as relationships, work, and everyday life, you’ll find “Short Insights” and “Questions” that invite you to pause and think. Read something that interests you, consider what it means to you, and put your thoughts into your own words.

When you’d like to explore an idea further, Hassy, your AI learning companion, is there to talk it through with you.

Learning comes to you

Browse a feed of ideas and questions, much like you browse social media.

In HashMemo, each short learning activity combines a Short Insight with a Question to explore.

As you scroll, you might discover a perspective from a great book, a question about relationships, or something that makes you see an everyday experience differently.

You don’t need to decide what to study before you start. Simply open a Prompt that catches your attention.

We call this approach “Feed Learning.” You can discover something unexpected or choose a familiar topic and explore it in more depth.

Here’s an example

Short insight Starting something new doesn’t always mean adding more to your schedule. You can also take a fresh look at how you already spend your time. Cutting back on an existing habit may leave more room for something that matters to you.

Question Is there anything about how you spend your time that you’d like to reconsider?

There’s no single right answer. One line is enough, and your thoughts don’t need to be fully formed.

Start with whatever comes to mind.

Make knowledge your own

Each activity in HashMemo follows a simple format.

Read a Short Insight.

Think about the Question.

Write down what you think in your own words.

“Why does that happen?”

“What would I do?”

“How could I apply this to my work or everyday life?”

The aim is to do more than collect information. It’s to connect what you learn with your own experiences and ideas. Over time, those small reflections can become part of the way you make decisions and take action.

Explore what interests you

Great Books Studio
Explore ideas and principles from great books and consider how they relate to your life and work.

You’ll also find Prompts that explore topics such as self-understanding, relationships, work, everyday life, and subjects you may never have explored before.

Stay with one topic or follow your curiosity across several. There’s no fixed path you have to follow.

HashMemo is available in English, Japanese, Spanish, and Korean.

Keep a record of what you think today

You can return to the same question and leave a new note whenever you like. Each note is dated, so you can look back at what you thought at different points in time.

Write something today.

Come back six months later and add another note.

Your earlier words stay there—you don’t have to replace them.

You might notice a change in your thinking. Or you might find that something you’ve always valued still matters just as much.

Your own words become a record of what you’ve learned and how you see things.

Think it through with Hassy

“Could you explain that a little more?”

“What’s another way to look at this?”

“This is what I think. What do you think?”

You can bring questions like these to Hassy.

Hassy responds to your ideas with useful background, concrete examples, and different perspectives. It can help you deepen your understanding and organize your thoughts.

Your notes and chats are separate. You can leave a note without talking to Hassy, or have a conversation first and then decide what you’d like to write.

Think for yourself, with AI alongside you.

You decide what to explore and what to take away from it.

Your notes are private

Your notes are not visible to other users unless you choose to share them.

They don’t need to be polished or written for anyone else. Uncertainty and thoughts that are still taking shape are worth keeping too.

HashMemo is designed to give you space to write freely, in your own words, for yourself.

My life is mine to run.

What do I want to learn? How do I want to work? Who do I want to spend time with? What matters most to me?

Life is full of choices with no single right answer.

HashMemo encourages you to explore different ideas, think them through, and make your own choices. That is the spirit behind our guiding belief:

“My life is mine to run.”

Learn a little. Think it through. Put it into your own words.

HashMemo is here to support that small, everyday habit.
